 I am a science teacher who worked and lived in Virginia and now lives and works in Alaska. I am married to the most wonderful woman in the world "Dori ." I have been blessed by three wonderful daughters Lena, Megan and Beth. I enjoy photography, cycling, hiking, scuba diving, rugby (retired winger who dreams to return to the game) and star gazing. I started the photo journal essay in 2002 originally as a way to share the experience of life in Virginia. My family and I have now open a new adventure in our life as we return to live in Alaska to enjoy the natural beauty and culture of America's last frontier! Alaska is a wonderful state, graced by abundant wildlife, natural settings and friendly people. Alaska vast expanses fills the imagination fosters the American Sprit of Adventure. My pictures have been published in the "Roanoke Times" Newspaper and in the Franklin County High School Newspaper "The Eagle", "The Alaska Star" Newspaper and other numerous publications.
